My good friend Daniel Young in Hawaii makes exquisite boards out of exotic woods from all over the world. This one is a new design and has Purple Heart, Koa, Mango and Pheasant woods. It was really nerve racking to paint on this because the board is a piece of art in and of itself. I wanted to make sure that I respected the board design and natural coloring of the woods. This is my Freedom Fighter girl. I like the way it came out.
